Support the Endowment Fund at SETAC Minneapolis

Ruth Hull, SETAC North America Endowment Fund Board of Trustees

Greg SchieferWe’ve called on someone special to help us meet the Herb Ward Endowment Fund Challenge – to grow the fund to $400,000 by the SETAC North America 40th Annual Meeting in 2019. We have some work to do to make our goal, and your contributions are our best avenue for achieving it!

Come join us at the SETAC North America 38th Annual Meeting during the Monday poster social from 5:30 p.m.–6:30 p.m. on 13 November in Minneapolis, Minnesota. For a donation to the SETAC North America Endowment Fund, a SETAC elf will take your picture with Santa and Mrs. Claus. He’s very busy this time of year, so be sure to get to the endowment fund booth early and see whether you are on the naughty or nice list.

Santa and Mrs. Claus, their helpful elf and the Endowment Fund Board of Trustees invite you to join them in meeting Herb’s challenge goal. No need to wait until November! Make your donation now and jump the queue for a photo! You can also come to SETAC Central with cash, check or credit card on 13 November or anytime during the meeting. You can support the fund throughout the year in a number of ways, for example by donating any amount at any time or even shopping using Amazon Smile and listing SETAC as your charity of choice. To learn more about the endowment fund or to donate now, please visit the SETAC website.

Greg SchieferThis year, the endowment fund is supporting the Sonny Mayer Ph.D. Student Presentation Awards and is providing travel funds to six early career scientists. As the fund grows, we can provide more distributions in support of SETAC North America activities. We are limited only by available funds and our thoughtful imaginations. Please join us! Remember, it isn’t what you give but that you give.
