Vote for the SETAC UK Student Council Logo

Michelle Bloor, SETAC UK Branch President

winner graphicIn September 2016, a student branch of SETAC United Kindom (UK) was established, and 12 enthusiastic Ph.D. students from UK institutions signed up to sit on its Student Council. During the first few months, the Student Council created some wonderful initiatives to implement at the 2017 SETAC UK Annual Meeting, which will be held on 21 September 2017 at the Oxford Union, and include a “speed dating” networking activity and a plenary debate. The Student Council now wants to create its own visual identity – and that's where you can help!

What better way of solving the problem than to have a logo competition? Michelle Bloor, SETAC UK Branch President, challenged the student cohort to design a logo to represent the Student Council, and the competition soon took shape.

Four logos have been shortlisted. These were designed by Student Council President Katherine Lees, Student Council Secretary Stefan Schade and council members Siti Syuhaida Mohamed Yunus and Verena Riedl.

The four logos will be displayed until 11 May on the SETAC UK Twitter and Facebook accounts with #findalogo.

We need you to vote! The logo that receives the most social media “likes” will win the competition and become the official SETAC UK Student Council logo.

Please follow us on social media, Twitter, Facebook and LinkedIn, to get regular updates about the competition and branch activities. We also encourage you to check out our new website to meet the students behind the logos.

Please vote for your favorite logo! The winning logo will be announced on 12 May.  Good luck to the competing students!
