What Do Fracking, Mercury, Pesticides, Statistics and Communications All Have in Common?

Ruth Hull, Professional Training Course Committee, SETAC Orlando World Congress

Really the question is: “What do fracking, mercury, pesticides, statistics, communication, oil, remote sensing, risk assessment, scientific presentations, interview skills, journal articles and stress management ALL have in common?” Answer: There are professional training courses in these areas being offered at the 7th SETAC World Congress/SETAC North America 37th Annual Meeting, which will be held from 6–10 November in Orlando, Florida.

There is a diverse selection of scientific, leadership and communication courses being offered. These are not just your typical science courses! Yes, we have a great range of science courses, but we also have leadership and communications courses, which are important at any stage of your career. And who hasn’t experienced stress or anxiety? Learn approaches to help you through difficult times and improve your overall health. Plus, we have two courses specifically for students.
