5th International Conference on Emerging Contaminants and Micropollutants in the Environment

EmCon2016 and WiOW2016 Organizing Committee

Abstract submission is open for the 5th International Conference on Emerging Contaminants (EmCon2016) and Micropollutants (WiOW2016), which will take place from 20–23 September 2016, in Sydney, Australia. This is your opportunity to contribute to three days of thought-provoking discussion, information sharing, strategizing and problem solving. Please submit your abstract before the 1 March deadline.

This joint meeting will bring together scientists from across the globe to discuss the latest research on all aspects of emerging contaminants and their many degradation products. Special themes include emerging contaminants in megacities, mining exploration and fracking, microplastics and nanomaterials.

Our confirmed keynote speakers include Judy Blackbeard of Melbourne Water, Sherri Mason of State University of New York at Fredonia and Kevin Thomas of Norwegian Institute for Water Research (NIVA).

Sydney is Australia's oldest and largest city. Located on Australia's East coast, the metropolis surrounds one of the world's largest natural harbors, and sprawls towards the Blue Mountains to the west. Sydney offers a range of great tourist attractions from the world famous Sydney Opera House and Sydney Harbour Bridge to the sandy shores of Bondi Beach.
